All sessions are pitched for general (non-technical) community participants, everyone is welcome at all sessions.
The Survey Cadence Optimization Committee (SCOC) is charged to deliver a recommendation for the LSST observing cadence by the end of calendar year 2021. The SCOC will deliver their draft recommendation at this session, with an aim to open a discussion of remaining optimization questions and to motivate further cadence analysis to be presented at the second SCOC workshop in November 2021. The ApJS special edition on Rubin LSST Cadence will also be discussed.
